I love the groups and love those zany kids who start them, but they have a very short shelf life around here, it's just the nature of the place.
I am part of the Spill Movie group and AM writing a story for the "movie". I've been at it for 4 months now and have almost 100 pages done. Now, WitchKing is another writer here who is active and very good.
We could try to start a "serious" writers group...I'll join! Like a real writers group, we critique each others work, always helpful to me!

I suppose, but would putting the word serious in front of the group name actually attract the people we need?
It would be nice if you could find some other people that write often and would like to share their work. We could create a group just for us. I have a problem with writer's block (in the sense that I'm lazy and scared of the page), but there'd certainly be motivation in having a place to go specifically for getting help with your work.
You could just get the emails of everyone who has posted work in the discussions and start up an email community where people just email work to eachother, you'd more likely to be noticed by whoever you were trying to contact. Or just set up a group where only certain people can join, and delete everyone else off. That way you just leave the writers.
Whether you’re a fan of fairy tales or rugby, you’ll be able to find something at the theaters this weekend. Invictus, starring Matt Damon and Morgan Freeman, and Disney’s The Princess and the Frog are the two biggest titles at the weekend, but here…
