Find out why I joined spill and why I started this group.
When I first learned of the Spill Community. I saw some very funny and great animated movie reviews and that was almost enough reason for me to join LOL.
Then when I joined, I started reading people's posts and blogs about movies so I could learn more about the people who make them and the actors who star in them as well, because I knew so little.
I Know with out a doubt I still have a lot of learning still left to do and I am doing my best to contribute what I can to this community in a positive and funny way.
Whether its joining a group, sharing a opinion on or off a discussion, being a friend or making friends, and talking about MOVIES.
I am putting an emphasis on the word "MOVIES" because correct me if I am wrong, but this is a MOVIE community right? This is not myspace right?
Yes it is a great place to meet great and different people but the one fact remains why we or at least myself joined here. MOVIES and to learn more about them in all aspects no matter how you do it.
I always try to greet people who join this community like so many of you did for me in the beginning. I still thank all of you for that!

I guess I am just tired of seeing people who join for no reason and take up space and have no positive contributions to this MOVIE site.
They join and do nothing at all! So they join to be just dead members?! ???
So let me clarify what I am seeing. People join and then do ABSOLUTELY nothing.
they don't say hello back. they do not try to make friends or even post a song on their page or change their page.
So maybe {being the nice people we are} we can show these people what to do or how to do it right or get involved if we post here why we joined and maybe it can inspire those that have joined to have a POSITIVE purpose here in the community we all here call Spill.

i first joined not too long ago. I first encountered this site while looking for reviews on Dragon Wars. And, lo and behold, this site just so happened to have a review for it! I've been hooked ever since. That's my story.

Right on, Renegade. I joined for the movies, come back for the movies, but really like the other interactions as well. I'm not on any other communities, so what others' do is pretty lost on me.

well as I said, like yourself and others have done for me at least.
Is to give them some insight on what is going on here and to get others involved in a more active way. Just like you, I am not active in any other communities either, because I really like what is going on here with the reviews and the people I meet along the way.

I guess I do not understand why people join this site and do absolutely nothing.
Nothing on their page, not saying hello back to the people that greet you, and not getting involved in a community where we talk about various things but our main drive is movies.
Another reason why I put this up is, because Korey had been talking about doing a Spill party when he hits 10,000 members on this site.
I know a lot of people may not be able to make it, but when we hit that number.
I would like to see for Korey's sake, that he knows that each of those numbers count for an active member here and not a so called dead/inactive member.

There could be a number of reasons for profiles remaining unchanged, non response, and the absence of page personalities. I haven't changed my page for awhile, because I like my picture and I haven't found any other that I like more. I don't have music on my page cause my ISP and my computer are in league with each other (one is deliberately slow and the other is slowing down). And remember the competition for the Wii???? That's probably why there are so many ghosts profiles. a friend signed up, but the friend probably isn't into movies (gasp!!!). :) Other than that RENEGADE, screw them and their other communities we were fine b4 them and we will continue to be fine without them!!!

I joined because after seeing one review, i am never going any where else. Spill is the best, i loved the reviews so much i watched almost every review they have which is like 135...maybe im missing some but that was all i could find. It took me three days to watch them all.

I first found out about this site by looking at the side links on a web page where you can "steam movies" if you know what i mean. i was watching some film and saw a link to this site. after watching one video i was hucked on coming to this site.
