Why this song? Because it so unexpected from someone like Common...which makes it fly as hell.

Well Cube (and the Westside connection) started it. So there was already a dis track.

they did start it. Common released I Used to Love H.E.R. and they got mad over some lyrics not relate them.

They just took the whole West coast part of the song to be a diss.
But then she broke to the west coast, and that was cool
Cause around the same time, I went away to school
And Im a man of expandin, so why should I stand in her way
She probably get her money in l.a.
And she did stud, she got big pub but what was foul
She said that the pro-black, was goin out of style
She said, afrocentricity, was of the past
So she got into r&b hip-house bass and jazz
Now black music is black music and its all good
I wasnt salty, she was with the boys in the hood
But that was never Common's intention so thats why i say The Westside connection started it.

Either, is in every 1, top 3, of diss tracks, but my fav is Canibus - Second Round KO... no doubt he killed LL cool J,,,

i gave up with g unit, beefs, they never end, (i do like the Lox,) i dont like the game i he is not lyricallly good enough,,,, and i did like gza recent diss against g unit ,,, but i dont care about g unit,,,,
