the reason that toy story 3 is the best of the trilogy is because you feel the age of the series in that Andy has grown up and so has Woody. In a sense, Woody and Andy "were one" and "split" in the beginning of the movie. at the end they "merge" as both have matured throughout the series and especially this movie. that is why Toy Story 3 is my favorite Pixar, Toy Story, third, sequel, and animated film ever.

Toy Story so far is the greatest trilogy of all time. My favorite was Toy Story 2, best pixar movie and animated movie ever.

I love all three movies but really I think Toy Story 3 goes above and beyond any the series has done before, even beyond what every other Pixar movie has done. Each one is perfect, but the next one is always more perfect than the last. It's the first movie I've cried in since I was 12, in fact I cried twice. Astonishing movie. I can't wait to get the whole lot as a box set on DVD and have a Toy Story movie marathon (the first 2 I had on VCR which broke down not so long ago).

I love all three Toy Story movies.

Toy Story (1995) - A Outstanding

Toy Story 2 (1999) - A+ Award-Worthy

Toy Story 3 (2010) - A- Perfect

I don't know how the hell you can pick which one is best, because to me honestly all of them classic movies, sure I have the most fond memories of the first, but I still love the entire trilogy equally.

The Toy Story trilogy are one of my favorite movie of all time.

All three films are excellent masterpieces, but as great as they are, not even the last two movies can compete with the sheer brilliance of the first.

Like Corey said, how all three films are more perfect than the next is rare. I saw Toy Story 3 last night and it was GREAT!
