Book Discussion: The Wonderful Wizard of Oz

I thought it would be great if we have a thread for the book that started it all.

Here is my well-loved copy, which I've had for nearly thirty years. I've read it many more times than I can remember and each time, it still resonates with magic.

Here's an article I came across which gave me pause. As much as I love the idea of hidden meanings, it never occurred to me to read between the lines in TWWOO. However it does make me want to explore that aspect further.
