This is the thread for Doctor Who, and I'd like to say that it should encompass the entire show. From William Hartnell to the present.

It occurred to me that it might be a good idea to list all of the Doctors so here goes.

First Doctor-William Harntell
Second Doctor-Partick Troughton
Third Doctor-John Pertwee
Fourth Doctor-Tom Baker
Fifth Doctor-Peter Davison
Sixth Doctor-Colin Baker
Seventh Doctor-Sylvester McCoy
Eighth Doctor-Paul McGann
Ninth Doctor-Christopher Eccleston
Tenth Doctor (Arguably Best)-David Tennant
Eleventh Doctor (Current)-Matt Smith

Other Doctors:
Shalka Doctor-Richard E Grant
The Doctors in the 1999 BBC Telethon Miniseries- Rowan Atkinson, Richard E Grant, Jim Broadbent, Hugh Grant, Joanna Lumley.
The Doctor from Dr. Who and the Daleks-Peter Cushing

Pictured below are only the Eleven Main Doctors. The others garner an honorable mention, but little more than that.

Overall... I liked it a lot, it's great to talk about, but overall it was a lot of build up with very little pay off. I enjoyed how they ended it without endangering the lives of people we know will survive, but the stakes could have still been raised a bit. It's just shy of being a great episode for me.
So i've been keeping up with the current season of Doctor who, but i'm not going to lie I only saw the show here and there before this summer.   I really want to watch the rest of it, but I've run into a problem.   If I go to rewatch the series I want to watch ALL of it  (long time task, I know) if I can and (if I can, cause i'm poor) watch it all online. I've found some of the first season on youtube, and then I found out that there are a few "lost" episodes and I'm a little dumbstruck because of . . . well the vastness of this task.  I was just wondering if you guys thought this was possible or if I should stick too the newer seasons and start with number 9.
I've only watched the newer series and I'm perfectly happy with it. I watch internet reviewers on TGWTG and the like for my info on classic Doctor Who so I learn some of the older stuff. And honestly, I've tried to watch Classic Doctor Who, and it's kind of unbearable for me personally. I've never been a huge watcher of older television or film, so it's difficult for me to get past the cheesiness.
I'm with Stephan. I bought a few of the DVDs, and I can't really sit through them. I'd say watch The Three Doctors, and The Five Doctors. Those were really fun, but I have a hard time watching the others.

I started watching from Doctor nine with my roomate and we've blasted through the first season!  We're gonna have to start pacing ourselves cause we've started to use netflix steaming to avoid doing our homework.  :p

Anyway here's a clip cause I almost died laughing during this part.

Just watched the newest episode... I-- I don't know how to feel.

I love seeing what talented fans can make

wow that was cool

I just started watching this on Netflix. This show is very addictive. I rushed through series one and two in about two weeks. Changing the Doctor after series one was interesting. I loved that character, but Tennant is awesome. He brings a lot of wit to the show. I loved his interaction with the Beast near the end of series two. That was priceless. Those two episodes are incredible.
