I'm a fan of the classic but it would be great if they make a film based on the novel that the Thing from another world is based on Who Goes There.

I like it when Mcready calls the Norwegen's "Hey Sweden!!" before they discover the alien. The one thing I never got is when they put the alien into that room (Mcready's room) & it wakes up & kills that one dude in the corner of the room? Why didn't they just put it in the freezer or out in the cold outdoors & put some flags around it so therefore they know where it is so they can examine it more.

as many times as I've seen this movie I don't remember all the names either. I know who you mean tho. I thought it was the guy that wound up being infected when they were doing the blood test.
