am I the only one who didn't really care for batman begins?

No honestly I can't even go back and watch Batman Begins, Dark Knight is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo superior, in every way shape and form, everything from the cinematography, to the way that it was shot, to the original score, to the acting, everything was done 1000x's better in TDK.

I think maybe you must be. I mean this was the turning point where Frank Miller's Batman was achieved for the first time. We got over an hour of introductory storyline and Christian Bale is unbeatable. It beats all the other Batman films and even DARK KNIGHT!

Batman Begins really is a good movie for the origin story of Batman. It still was the best Batman film when it was released, but now The Dark Knight blew it out the water. Sometimes it's hard watching it when you know TDK is so much better, but its still a beautiful film on its own level.

Well I personallly think that TDK is definitely better, especially concerning the action scenes, but you must regard that in BB, Bruce's past, his life, his character, his ambitions and his efforts to find a way to fight crime had to be told first - if Nolan just had skipped those parts of the movie and replaced it with action scenes, Bruce's character would have remained totally foreign and incomprehensible for those who're not that familiar with the comics.
In my opinion, BB is the best solution Nolan could find for the beginning of the new Batman movies - great story, great actors and the details that are necessary to understand Bruce and his character.
