Hey guys. Long time listener, first time asker. I was wondering what you guys think about my two favorite graphic novels- "Goodbye Chunky Rice" and "Blankets", both by Craig Thompson. I haven't heard you mention them before, and I love them both to death- his style and storytelling abilities are wonderful :)

hey guys! it's me: Ramses, the guy with the pink hat from Comic-con. Here's my question to the all mighty LEOG: Did or do anyone read any of the G.I. Joe comics, weather it be the Marvel run, the Devil's Due comics or the new IDW run? im a HUGGGGEEEEEEE fan of the comics and I'd love to hear you guys discuss about it.

I know most leog fans/crew aren't real particular about anime, and neither am I. however, without causing a riot between the two factions. i have to ask:

what did you guys think of Batman: Gotham Knight?

my personal opinion was that the idea was cool, having 6 different directors work on an independent story/episode. however i only enjoyed 1-2 of them. this of course does not nearly compare to how great BTAS was (Batman the animated series) was back in the day.

like i said, not trying to start anything that might upset the balance of comics and anime, but i find myself walking the line most of the time so i just had to get some other opinions before i go deeper into thought.

Superpowers : i was waiting for a train and listening to a LEOG and started thinking about what powers each member would have this is what i came up with :
Cyrus can create an alternate universe in your mind which is full of wierd and innapropriate things that cause so much embarrisment and pain you wish for death
Leon : his laugh is so highpitched it can fry a brain to slush at 50 paces
Jason : his voice is so deep he can create a soinc boom strong enough to cause internal bleeding and damage to landscapes
Beau : directly feeds haunting and deadly images of imapelment into a subjects head causeing them to cower ni the fetal position crying as they beg for mercy.
Grant : Has the power to make anyone he chooses to shut the fuck up at will for a duration of 5minuets
Fish : makes a really REALLY great cup of coffee.

sorry fish but i couldnt think of anything else at that moment and i didnt wanna go with the obvious sea lad reference............. if anyone can think of anything better or differnt for anyone i would LOVE to hear it.

i made this for my old schools news program. i did a promo video for the schools film club. i made another vid spoofing Stanley Kubrick's The Shining. we redid the big wheel scene with a 11th grader riding a pink and teal big wheel. ill post that one later, when i get the chance. the idea behind the 300 spoof is that the school was going through budget cuts and had to disband the schools film club. the vid is the trailer with a voice over from two english teachers. To end things off i guess i have to say that you would have had to go to my old high school to get some of the jokes.
