While there is no way currently to technically set the limit, the Lounge is for posting of information by the LEOG crew and where appropriate inside of a pre-existing post, questions for us.

If you have a question you want answered on a LEOG podcast, there's only one way that we give it the time of day, and that's to post it in the appropriate "Questions For" forum post when it goes up (almost always by Leon). I realize there's not always a current "Questions For" post up (so we don't have to sort through 1500 questions when the time comes) but you can be patient.

Any questions sent to us through 'send message' or in any other place will be ignored.

If you have a general question you want answered without worrying about it being in the podcast, put it on the comment wall or (more likely to get answered) on our FAQ pages.

Hmmm, since I'm assuming the league will do another fantastic fest podcast, what's up with fantastic fest showing yatterman?!

I know it's directed by takeshi miike... but it's a freaking kids movie based of an anime!

I have From Crisis to Crisis: A Superman Podcast and the stuff from Ifanboy on my Ipod. Both are very good when you're laying in bed, at the gym or just on the train to work and class.

I watch Comic Book Club on youtube. Ironically, I had an interview once for an internship for their show when it was called Pulp Secret. It was owned by NextNewNetworks and I almost got the internship, but someone better came along. But those three make comic reviews fun. Alex and Justin can articulate their thoughts. Pete can't really, but he's got this great energy when he's psyched about a title.

While From Crisis to Crisis focuses on Superman comics from Man of Steel until Infinite Crisis (it's gonna take about 5 years until the last episode) they can not only summarize the comics, but say what they liked, what they didn't like and run with it. It's fun.

Ifanboy is pretty much like the other two above. And, they do movie stuff sometimes, too. I've just gotten into it so I can't give a full run down, but I'm liking what I'm hearing.

You add that to LEOG every week and I've actually got some good listening next to Sports radio.

Well, you're right Mr. E she is quite a looker. lol.

Why do I get the feeling that's a part of the allure? Listening to her complain reminded me of a my space young female who uploads 20 pics of her showing off her body then gets pissy when guys come onto her. It's really silly.

At least in Blair's defense, she's read a lot of Robinson's past work so it's not like this is her first crack at a comic book review.

IGN's podcast was one of the very best in particular how they broke down R.I.P. in detail and connected it in every aspect of the Batman mythos. It's been like a month since their last podcast and I miss it quite a bit.

Their Pod Casts are only about 30-40 minutes long and I listen to all this shit while I'm at work, so I'm ALWAYS on the lookout for good new pod casts, and theirs was actually pretty fun.

Anyone else have good Pod Casts they can recommend? What other comic ones do you listen to Jose?

I've got enough comic book podcasts to watch/listen to lol And so far, this girl didn't exactly sell me on checking out anything else from theirs. Not because she didn't agree with my opinion, but if you're going to review a comic that you didn't like, at least try to make an effort to talk about the issue itself rather than minor gripes.

It just bothers the hell out of me to see people tearing this down and declaring that James Robinson's writing is officially dead. Have you read Superman or World of New Krypton? He writes those, too and they seem to be fine. I don't see any difference between this and Superman where he uses obscure characters, has a lot of nice quiet moments and his stories are building to something.

Maybe it's because comics today are of a "we want big epic pieces and we want them now" mentality. We've been so used to excess, padding and everything else that comes with writing for the trade that we don't have an appreciation for the slow stories that build with each issue. This is why I feel The Mighty doesn't get the attention it deserves, either. It's not written by Robinson but it's another excellent example of how over the course of time a story gives you information piece by piece, and with each pieces comes the looming feeling that something is on the horizon. I love that in stories because I'm invested as a reader and it shows me the writer knows what their doing. They're not just making it up as they go along. Cry For Justice is what it is. I can't say for sure what it is yet, because the story isn't finished. I just have pieces to go by. So far, everyone's happy to have two pieces and say this book is garbage. Really, it's their loss.

They actually have weekly based comics podcast they do which just started about five weeks back or so, and the two guys who do the pod cast with her basically say everything you guys just did in retort to her review this week. Their actually pretty entertaining:

How were the characters not portrayed correctly? Ollie and Hal have always been skirt chasers. Ollie was more open and Hal...I mean, he's a fly boy for christ's sake. A cocky man who has a penchant for bucking orders sounds like a reckless pilot to me.

Sounded like the same women that complained about Bond in the late 80s early 90s, "It's disgusting Bond sleeps around during the AIDS crisis."

That's the part of super heroes I like. Flawed human beings. You're not supposed to find these super heroes holistic. They are tragically flawed as the next person but that's what makes the story compelling. Heroes aren't about personality but the actions behind the motivations.

Sigh...this IS what pisses me off about the comic book popularity craze.

Okay, so I'm watching this review and I've yet to see her talk about the actual issue. She talks about her gripes with it, and hey, she's entitled to do that. But what about the story?

I just love when reviews are more about "I didn't like this" or "That wasn't right" The best reviews I've read have discussed what happened in the story (spoiler or non-spoiler), THEN you get to the personal opinion.

All I heard her talking about was that the art was gorgeous and how she didn't like the first page line (everyone's talking about that damned line as opposed to the story), and how Hal Jordan is different in other comics.

And everyone wonders why I don't believe the internet's gripe over this series.

Ya, but GOD DAM it was fun watching her do it... : )
