While there is no way currently to technically set the limit, the Lounge is for posting of information by the LEOG crew and where appropriate inside of a pre-existing post, questions for us.

If you have a question you want answered on a LEOG podcast, there's only one way that we give it the time of day, and that's to post it in the appropriate "Questions For" forum post when it goes up (almost always by Leon). I realize there's not always a current "Questions For" post up (so we don't have to sort through 1500 questions when the time comes) but you can be patient.

Any questions sent to us through 'send message' or in any other place will be ignored.

If you have a general question you want answered without worrying about it being in the podcast, put it on the comment wall or (more likely to get answered) on our FAQ pages.

What do you expect, I am high on my imaginary girlfriends birth control pills snorted right now!

Why kill the cat? Why the cat?

How can you edit that, I've been trying to figure that out for ever?

Also, go look at the sentence again.... "every" I think you're seeing things Red.... : )
Comment by Mr. E on August 29, 2009 at 9:10pm
It's not supposed to be a word Red, it's creative license to get the point across.... So NNNNAAAAAAAA........... : )

I think I hear my dogs killing that cat.......

Mr. Erreebus put a LOT of effort into that post and it was very interesting. To undercut this and provoke him more: Spidey is just as wise crakey as every Take that. And Crakey isn't a word.

Well, I got a chance to catch up on some comics..

Green Lantern 45: LOTS of fighting action going on in this one. Especially between Sinestro and the Star Sapphire Carol Ferris... My biggest question after that fight being, how long is the waiting list of guys waiting to get beat up by Carol Ferris? YOWZA!!!! Also, I noticed one of the Black Lantern Rings got to power level 45.43% which is "I think" the highest I've seen any of them get yet... There was also a really awesome splash page at the end with an Orange Lantern guy surrounded by Black Lanterns... So he's pretty much screwed....

Blackest Night Tales of the Corps Issue 3: This one was a VERY pleasant surprise. There are two short stories at the beginning. The first is about Kilowog being trained as a rookie Lantern. It's very quick and has a nice ending. The second story is about Arisia becoming a green lantern, which is the weakest part of this issue. The real standout feature is something I’ve never seen in a comic book before. It’s a “Directors Commentary” with Geoff Johns and other assorted editors talking about the Blackest Night Saga up to this point, and it was a FABULIOUS read. I HIGHLY recommend that anyone still thinking about getting into the Blackest Night books rush out and pick this up. It has assorted Non-colored panels from various comics that help fill in ANY of the info you’ll need in order to understand what is going on in Blackest Night. The commentary by Johns and the editors is both fascinating and very informative not only about what has happened so far, but also about what is yet to come.. VERY GOOD STUFF!!!!

The Amazing Spider-man (See, I remembered the hyphen Beau.. : ) ) Issues 600 – 602. I haven’t read an Amazing Spiderman in YEARS and found all three issues to be VERY entertaining. Spidey is just as wise crackey as ever, and I laughed out loud a few times each issue. Issue 600 had an AMAZING fight between Spider-man and a Doc Oc who is now dying from all the blows to the head he’s taken over the years from super powered beings… They’ve also done some interesting things with Jamison now being the Mayor of New York, and issue 602 ended on a REALLY good cliffhanger with the Chameleon.

Ultimate Spider-Man Issue 001: Man, I REALLY do NOT like the new artist for this series. I know Spider-man is supposed to be sixteen, but I swear there are some panels in here were he literally looks like he’s a five year old. One of them being a panel where he’s making out with Gwen Stacy that looks like Child Porn…. Creepy….. Another thing is just how short this issue was at $3.99. I’m thinking I’m going to stick to the trades for Ultimate Spidey because you just get more story for the buck. Anyhow, the story was good. I’m curious who the guy in the red cloak was that busted up the robbery at the Convenience Store, and a returning villain makes VERY short work of the King Pin at the end…

Ultimate Avengers Issue 001: I liked the Art MUCH more than Spidey, and the story was good, but wholly shits are these Ultimate comics short. Again, at $3.99 a pop during this economy, I’m going to need a little more to sink my teeth into. Nick Furry talks to Hawkeye, flash back to Cap America and Hawkeye beating some guys up on helicopters, Iron Man drunk, back to Cap getting beat up by Red Skull, gets thrown out of helicopter, saved by Hawkeye…. The End….. That’s it… That’s the whole story accept the five word sentence by Cap on the last page… I think I’ll pass on these to spend money on other titles….

Also, Karl is right on the money…. ARKHAM ASYLAM IS THE SHIT!!!!!!!! GO BUY THIS GAME IMMEDIATELY!!!

Karl, as someone who loved Mr. Freeze in the animated series, is he in the game?
Comment by Beau on August 29, 2009 at 7:44am
Devil,

Although Kirby was originally approached by Stan Lee about creating a character named Spider-Man, Lee hated Kirby's original design and gave the character over to Ditko-the Spidey we know and love, costume, webs, wrist web-shooters, was made up out of whole cloth by. Both Ditko and Kirby collaborated on the cover of Amazing Fantasy #15 but the design of the character is almost 100% Ditko.

Thanks, Beau.
