Hey LEOG,
Comic book wise, my ire was drawn by the premature cancellation of Doctor VooDoo after just 5 issues. Here was a perfect opportunity for Marvel to incorporate a character with the rich lore and occult of New Orleans but it wasn't given a lick of a chance to really grow. To coin a phrase, "Can't a brother ever get a break in this town?"
Two TV shows I wished were allowed to continue: Blackadder, one of the funniest series axed after 4th season and Millennium, Chris Carter's other less popular freaky FBI series, which was axed after 3 seasons.
Thanks again for week in and out delivering the laughs and discussion.

Firefly is the most obvious first choice. It's a shame the show never really got its chance, and while the movie was good I was still left wanting more.
Why does Whedon keep going back to Fox like some kind of abused spouse? I wonder if he thinks they love him and can change?
Why does Fox hate sci-fi? Oh ya, nevermind...I know that one.

I would say Buckaroo Banzai, a sequel at this point is about as likely as the new Duke Nukem game. And I know this is something that did eventually continue, but was axed at a very sudden point some would say it's very similar as to what happened to Firefly, the original Star Trek TV show. Now we all know the adventures continued in the movies but the TV show did end at it's third season and was given the dreaded friday night deathslot.

Comic Books:
While its quality was very inconsistent, I really enjoyed the latest War Machine series. Another one I hope they bring up after Second Coming is Cable & Deadpool (the issue released this week showed how the series has potential if Swierczynski takes up the role of the writer, and if it helps to cut down on the overexposure of Deadpool, it's another point in its favor). Doctor Voodoo, as Karl and Dr. Detfink already said, should continue in a regular series...
One series that SHOULD be cancelled after Siege, in my opinion, is Dark Wolverine. Some of the issues were good, but I just find Daken an unlikeable character (and not because he's bi, for the record)

What is a comic, movie, or tv show that didn't end soon enough? I stuck with Heroes for 3 seasons before I had no choice but to give up hope. Then those mother fuckers tried to bring me back by giving Haiden a lesbian scene, but I said no sir I'll watch that part on the internet. It should have ended after season 1.

TV - Arrested Development, My Own Worst Enemy (I know Leon will back me up), The Tick (animated and live action), Invader Zim, Day Break, Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, Firefly (duh), The Critic, Batman Beyond, The Mighty Ducks
Movies - The Incredibles (still waiting), Unbreakable, The Iron Giant, Mr & Mrs Smith (since it didn't have an ending),Buckaroo Banzai, History of the World Part I

Sonic the Hedgehog or Sonic SatAM as it is now known as. Basically, it was the darker version of the first incarnation of Sonic. They left it on a cliffhanger involving Robotnick's Doomsday Device and introduced the Chaos Emerald, but the show got cancelled shortly after that.
Other than that one show, I got nothing. -

The ultimate answer is and always will be Firefly and Serenity.
But there are a few more...
The Matrix - I still want GOOD sequels. I wouldn't even mind if they continued the story AFTER the third film.
Lemony Snicket's Series of Unfortunately Events - The movie was a letdown, but this series either needs a sequel or a reboot, because the books were awesome.
Willow - I saw some guy say he wanted a sequel to Willow before, and that sounds kickass to me.
The 10th Kingdom - I don't know if anyone saw the miniseries "The 10th Kingdom" back in 2000, but I'd like to see a sequel to that series. Though, seeing as that was ten years ago I doubt that will happen.
Teen Titans - Based on the last episode of Teen Titans, which was probably the worst last episode ever in an otherwise great last season, I want more. We need to get some better closure on Terra.
Static Shock - It was a good show, it just needed better animation and a few less cheesy 80s-ish public service shows.
The Clone Wars (Animated) - The only Star Wars show that was freakin' awesome and we only got about 2 hours worth of material.
Samurai Jack - I want to see him defeat Aku, dammit!
Kung Fu Panda - It could have an awesome sequel seeing as that movie is one of the coolest animated action movies ever.
Who Framed Roger Rabbit - Because I'd like to see that world again, but ONLY if it's done with 2D animation!
Duck Dodgers - It was pretty awesome, but was canceled much too soon. -
