My question for you is, what was the one family tradition that grinded your gears the most at Christmas time? Mine was almost certainly having to wait until after Mass to open the presents, though I'm guessing you have some more interesting ones. :)

What was the one gift you wanted as a kid for Christmas, but never got?

Mine was an Easy Bake Oven.....Santa stiffed me year after year after year....so screw him...I have a REAL oven now!

This isn't a question, it's a thank you, last years blue christmas was my official introduction to you guys and I haven't missed a week since. For an entire year now you guys have warmed my heart and from the bottom of mine I must say MERRY CHRISTMAS LEAGUE! So here's to the end of a kick-ass year, and here's to the hopes that next year is awesome too.

For most of the people, Christmas is a time for spending time with your family, saying your loved-ones how much you care about them, spreading christmas chear, and all the other hippie-bullshit, but every now and then, all of the plans go to shitter and youre left alone without anything to do on Christmas Eve...so, worst case scenerio, what would YOU guys do if there was no chance of spending it with friends/family ?

The image of Santa Claus we know today was primarily designed by Thomas Nast in the 1800's (with some later tweaking by the Coca-Cola company). I've always found this image with the reindeer and elfin fetish to be a little too fruity. So...

Question:
If you could commission someone (past or present) to redesign Santa and the Christmas motif, who would you choose? Frank Miller? Chuck Palahniuk? Weird Al Yankovic? Who and why?
