If it's crap ... We'll tell you

CHRISTMAS IS FOR KIDS, YOU DUMMY!
That's this week the League of Extremely Ordinary Gentlemen will spend this week talking about all of our favorite media that's MEANT FOR KIDS BUT WE LOVE IT TOO!
I'll be the first one to admit that on a podcast with a bunch of grown-ass men & women talking about superheroes, cartoons, action figures and games every week it's kinda hard to discern just what exactly is "meant for kids". That's why you have professionals like us to ask about it.
Also, with the countdown to Christmas it's time for the LEOG Gift Guide. What are the latest and greatest geek gifts that'll impress the members of your guild, anime club, Jedi council, larping clan, starfleet academy, etc.??
Sure, we have some suggestions but what are yours?

Are there any revered childhood things that you feel, with a little love and a lot of shoepolish, could be rebooted for today's over-sophisticated young'uns? Or are those things just too sacred for the dirty old man to take behind the alley and touch in their no-no place?

Have you ever felt awkward watching a kids television show mainly because you didn't want to be caught by family and friends and the like. For example i loved power puff girls and would always change the channel whenever my mom or dad walked in. XD.
Btw Cyrus as a kid is creepy as hell.

I've been listening to your podcast for years now, and not once have I heard you mention Invader Zim. Since it was marketed as a kids show, I find it appropriate to bring up this week. If I was to recommend Invader Zim to anyone, what would be the correct age range to specify? There are a lot of shows with 'iffy for kids' content and this is one of them I've had a conundrum with lately.
Thanks and LONG LIVE THE LEAGUE!!!

I know this is an impossible question to answer, but it's one that bugs the hell out of me.

Are there any Young Children Shows that you'd rather have your younger siblings, kid nephews and nieces, or even future leog babies to watch.
I personally prefer to have my lil brother and sister watch Finies and Ferb than anything. Thank you for answering and long live the league.

My question is simple, what are your favorite classic Warner Bros & Disney cartoon characters & can you think of any particular favorite cartoon they starred in?

Do you have any favourite euphemisms or double entendres that you've heard from a children's tv show or movie? An example of this would be Black Cat saying "You better not get any of your goop in my hair" in The Spectacular Spider-Man. What's the farthest you've seen anyone push this?

Do you think a big animation studio such as Pixar or Studio Ghibli would be willing to step out of their comfort zone and do a live action movie, take on a licensed property, or make a film for an older audience?
Thank you and as always: Long Live the League!!!

one of the most crushing moments for a self absorbed child like i was, was having a show i loved being cancelled or ending(for me, it was Static Shock and justice league: Unlimited not too long after). Without access to internet, there is no warning, merely waiting for the show and then to find a re-run of something different. you come back for the next few weeks, but reruns persist until a new show takes its place. What was your first of these horrible experiences?
