If you decided to go ape-**** and become a superhero with no powers, what would your costume be, what would be your go to phrase and what would you use as a weapon?

Dear League of Plastic and Spandex Wearing Gentlemen (and woman),

Being an amateur hero who's trying to come off as "serious" can be incredibly difficult, especially if the costume looks like it was made out of garbage can lids, cardboard, and in-door rugs. So my question for the League is, is it possible to tell a story where the hero is ACTUALLY wearing a legitimate/professional costume? Or does the costume even MATTER as long as the character is well written?

Optional/Simple Bonus Question: What is the cheapest looking costume you've seen?

If our fascination with superhero stories represents an inherent desire for greatness and glory, what does the more recent obsession with damaged, underpowered, constantly-behind-the-8ball heroes mean?

Dear LEOG

Out of all the comics and movies you guys have seen what are some of the best weapons that super heroes (who don't have powers) have.  For me one of my favorites is the wrench in Super because its just an object that everyone has and yet he uses it to fight crime. Thanks in advance and long live the league

Dear LEOG,

What kind of realistic threat to a populous could you conceivably see warranting the creation and presence of a superhero, a threat that the military or police couldn't or wouldn't handle?

If boredom were a criminal, surely the LEOG would be its nemesis!

I'm gonna exit the frame of geekiness here for a second and ask: What would say are some of the moral implications of having "superheroes" in real life? This is under the assumption that the heroes in question have no super powers, like Phoenix Jones.

Don't really have a question per se, but I would love to hear the rest of the League's thoughts on Super.

And I would also like to extend a resounding thank you to you, Leon, for recommending it so highly.  It was my third favorite movie of the year behind Rango and Rise of the Planet of the Apes.

Hello guys wearing underwear  on the outside.

Like Deux Ex claims, that in the future humans will be starting to using implants and augmentation to offer super human powers of sort, so what would be the most practical thing of you guys to put into you ?

To the LEOG,

Do you believe that with most of these homemade superheroes have to be made with a sense of excessive vanity in their personalities rather than being humble about their powers/abilities/motivations? Some of them had backgrounds or origin stories that indicate that they came into their roles more out of the sense of gaining fame or making a name for themselves in society (be it for good or bad motivations) rather than trying to unjust the wrongs committed by criminals.

If this is true, then can they really be considered as heroes in the moral/philosophical sense if vanity was/is the driving force in their personalities?
