The end of the year always brings a time of reflection on the previous 12 months. Also, it gives all media outlets a break from producing new content by letting them...well, us just coast by on rehashing old shit.

Let it not be said that the LEAGUE OF EXTREMELY ORDINARY GENTLEMEN are not with the program! ...Plus, we know that our audience champs at the bit to to talk about this anyway.

Speaking of "program", we'll be kicking things off this week by discussing the Best Television of 2010.

To help make sure we get it right, we'll be joined by former full-time League members, Randy, Greg and Grant:  the tremendous trio known as  THE TV DUDES.

Also, it's a sad time as we bid farewell to our own Jason "Fish" Fisher who'll be heading back to SCAD and not haunting these parts again for another 5 or 6 months. I really wanted to throw him that bar mitzvah before he left but it turns out Jewish law is pretty unyielding on it not counting unless an ordained rabbi performs it. :-(

I was gonna try to read the torrah in time, but...Sheesh! Have you seen the size of that thing?

I'm still researching to see if it's maybe okay for Peter to perform the bris.

Time is short so you best get your questions to me ASAP!

What was the biggest disappointment on TV this year (Spring finales or Fall new shows)?  Oh and the Series end of "Lost" does not count?  It just doesn't.
Has FX taken over as the best station for television shows? HBO had it until they dropped Deadwood for Flight of the Concords...
Of all the TV you watched this year, what series gave you the biggest pay-off, whether it be just for one episode or the entire run of it's season?

Also, Doctor Who Christmas Special: I know you're probably gonna talk about it anyway, but you guys Cyrus and are just as gitty about the episode and oncoming season as me, right?
...okay, I SO wrote "Cyrus and Cat"... I blame NING.
What would you change in your favorite tv show to make it even better?
What'd you guys think of Symbionic Titan? (Since that was skipped the last time I asked it)
What new show this year do you think had the best premise regardless of how it turned out?

Dear LEOG & TV Dudes,

Do you prefer the six episode micro-seasons found on British television, or the big, meaty 22 episode seasons found here in the states? Do you think that it tells a tighter story, or leaves less time for character development as it rushes the plot along?

Long live the league (and tv dudes).

Seeing as how you guys aren't digging No Ordinary Family, (heroes probably doesn't even need to be mentioned anymore at this point) what do you guys think would make a great "people with superpowers" show? If you could, who would you choose to be involved? (writers, actors, directors, etc.)

Dear League,

Shows like The Walking Dead, Boardwalk Empire and Dexter managed to string me along the entire ride and end on high notes.  Some other shows, not so much.  My question is which show, new or returning, grabbed you this year from the start, kept you interested the entire ride with new twists and plotlines and get you excited for how it would all end, all to drop the ball with a lackluster season finale?  A show that you tuned into every week, but by the end left you thinking "Was that it?"

Mine would be True Blood.  That show does not know how to do finales and leaves too many plotlines open.

Hello Members of the League,

Each season I find myself discovering programs that no one is talking about but I instantly fall in love with. My question is simple, what were some of the television shows this year you feel got no respect because of poor marketing or a bad early reception?

Thanks and as always Long Live The League!!!
