Sorry if you're asked about it a lot, but how did you feel about Case Closed (either the show or books)? I'm not big on anime, but I do like murder mysteries when they're done well, and that show managed to keep my attention. Plus I liked how Jimmy/Conan had to juggle between solving the mystery and not giving himself away.

Tragic villain, trying to accomplish something good by horrific means. In a Greek play, he would've been brought down by his own hubris in some suitably ironic fashion.

So how many nerd conventions have you gone too? I've only been to one its called A kon it an anime convention in dallas have you heard or been to it?

Also have you ever scene the anime cyborg 009?

I've more or less lost count over the years. 

Off the top of my head, I've been to:

A-Kon

SDCC

Wizard World Chicago

Wizard World Texas

Small Press Expo

Megacon

Alternate Press Expo

Sakurakon

and a couple of smaller cons in San Antonio, Dallas and Houston whose names I can't remember.

 

I've also been to Siggraph several times, but that's a nerd-con of a different stripe.
