Hellraiser: Better than sex!!

Hellbound: Matinee

Hell on Earth: Low Rental

(The beginning of the movie with the statue and the church scene are both really good. But the ending. My God, that ending blew chunks...)

Bloodline: Some ol' Bullshit

(If, however, you play it as a party movie and the sound is either turned off or drowned out by music, then it's a Rental. The visuals are pretty and the movie works as long as you don't notice how dumb the story is or how laughably bad the dialogue is. If you're either high or tripping, it's a Rental as well.)

Inferno: High Matinee (My favorite of the sequels)

Hellseeker: Some Ol' Bullshit

(I've got nothing against Dean Winters, but this plot feels like a direct repeat of Inferno. That, and Ashley Lawence is just awful here. She's an important element of the story and when the story is dependant on her actions, the movie just falls apart. If you haven't already seen Inferno, this might be a Rental. Otherwise, don't bother.

Deader: Rental

Hellworld: NA (Haven't seen it either.)

Gee, Harvey, seems like you and I are of a like mind here, more or less!

Harvey, are you aware that both Deader and Hellworld were actually not connected to the Hellraiser franchise in their original screenplays? For whatever reason, the makers of those movies were shoehorned into the franchise by the studio in the hopes of increasing ticket and DVD sales. If you're watching either movie and you find yourself thinking something along the lines of "This doesn't feel like Hellraiser movie at all! It's like they took a separate horror movie and crowbarred Pinhead and the puzzle box into it!" you now know why.
