OK i figured out how to end the e-mails go to the top right side of the group page
there should be a button that says stop following click it if I'm correct the e mails should stop

Hey Ryan, can you set up this group so I don't get an F*ing e-mail every time someone joins! I get like 26 e-mails a day saying so and so joined this group. I wanna stay but I am getting tired of deleting e-mails.
