As many of you who decided to click the blog know. Death Note is a really popular anime that is, in general, liked by many people. And whats not to love, with its simple story line but yet very deep, complex plot line. but there are also the characters which truly make this story memorable. Especially L...

Lets face it hes the guy of Death Note who, if you hated everything or everyone else, loved or at least had a pleasant outlook upon when watching the show. but then something wierd happens, something shocking. something so suprising that just makes you watch those moments and go "wow, theyre actually gonna do this" and just look at the screen with a grimace on youre face and just watch on asking "how is this show gonna keep on going?".

im talking about the death of L.

the show does get worse after he dies and it goes on... for 25 more episodes. and for some parts i was like "YEAH KICK ASS" and for other parts i was like "ugh cmon lets get this show over with. i just want to know how it ends okay." and when it ends it ends on a bang but looking upon the series as a whole; when you think of all the times with L you get this pleasant feeling, but then thinking about his death you get that "awwwwwww why did you die you idiot, you could've thought through everything else but couldn't think through that shit huh. HUH!!"(or it could be just me). Anyways i always got the feeling of wanting to see L more when watching Death Note and how it would be much better if he didn't die in the first 25 episodes. So what about you, do you see the death of L making the series being worse because of it, better because of the impact of his death, or does it affect your ideas of the series at all? post your ideas.

No.

Mogi does.

Unfortunately the writting became weaker after the death of L, so it's not so much the death of the character that made me lose interest at that time it was the quality of the script.

definitely, it was L vs light. that was the main part of the show, once L died it wasn't as good anymore.

anyone else think, this show should have been 26 episodes long with L defeating light?
