Anime That Made You Cry
I would say the majority of anime fans out there have seen at least one series that has made them cry. Whether it be the death of a beloved character, or an ending that just didn't work out in the traditional fashion, anime has managed to get me all misty eyed on quite a few occasions.
That being said, perhaps one of the most memorable moments for me was while watching 'Ef-A Tale of Memories'. I'm not going to say exactly what caused the cascading waterfalls to fall from my eyes, but the ending to this particular series was so beautiful that I couldn't contain myself.
How about you guys? Are their any shows that have gotten you all emotinal?
P.S. If you're going to mention a spoiler, pleae mark it as thus. There's nothing worse than ruining a show for someone else.

I really need to finish that series. I own it all on DVD, but I have yet to see how it all ends up. I've heard the ending is amazing.

The middle and end of Air. Oh my god that anime is a tearjerker. It starts happy then ends up being depressing.

I was never a really big fan of Air, but I know the feeling. It kind of reminds me of how I felt about Kannon 2006. That show started out really cute and funny, but it ended up being really depressing.

Don't think I cried, but for me. I live near Dallas/ Ft. Worth; I was able to see Robotech. Not apparent in American shows period. When Roy Faulkner was literary shot up and would die by blood lose alone. It was cool how he went, like a man, but sad that a good guy died. Only the evil, live so long. "The good dye young."

SPOILERS IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN DEATH NOTE OR BOTH FMA SERIES 1 AND THE VOLUME 19 OF THE MANGA DON'T READ!!!
When L died in DN I was crying mostly because the series wasn't even done!!! Ed's death in FMA I cried because of Al's dialogue. Then in v. 19 of FMA when ed fights Kimblee and get's that rod in hm and he pretty much gets badly wounded, I kept thinking back to L and how he was important and died. I got scare for him. WHY DON'T MAIN CHARACTER POWERS WORK ANYMORE!!!

i cried tears of frustration about 5 episodes into the haruhi endless eight arc, I hear it has finally ended but unless which ever dumbass who thought showing the same episode over and over was a good idea shows up on my doorstep with a box of chocolates and a blowjob haruhi is dead to me! also the end of cowboy bebop was sad

I never cried from an anime but the last one that made me freak was Ep. 25 of Samurai Champaloo when Jin lost. Cause to me Jin was the shiz-right up there with Afro Samurai in terms of skill.
