Full Metal Panic is the absolute best in high school comdey, in my opinion of course.

I do like Cowboy Bebop for action, but I think Lupin the third was far superior to it, when it was basically leading up to the Bebop.

I've got to break this down by category, since my choice for best would depend on what I feel like seeing that day.

Action/Adventure - Burst Angel
Mystery/Detective - Noir
Psychological/Drama - Kino's Journey
Comedy - Ah! My Goddess

Good picks there and thanks for breaking such down to genres. I've personally seen all, except your B.A. for action/adventure. True that, with anime, It's based on criticism. Just be happy that some essentials, to some, I have to seen.

I've heard about your Burst Angel and sorry, I don[t think I would really care for the show. May have seen it through NT USA?

Have to be specific, sadly. Ninja Scroll; I have your 10 year edition. Also, is it just me, but the English voice actor sounds like a surfer guy. I have nothing personally against surfers, but for a ninja. That VA sounds like a expletive. The rough if not guttural Japanese. I know that they make a newer show, but also a movie: resurrection; that had enough bad reviews that, I personally, haven;t seen it.

Ive kinda lost all touch with reality because, a few months ago I wouldve said One Piece [the original Japanese version], but the show has just gone downhill and I never thought Id think to myself "This show is starting to suck." But, lets face it, it does suck -- I dont even watch it anym-- ... oh wait... it barely airs anymore and when it does its a 25 minute steaming pile of failure.
