Oh god yeah! I mean, 2009 has some decent films coming, which I'm pretty excited about, but they won't have anything on '08. Even if something like Watchmen is amazing it can't match the feeling of coming out of The Dark Knight or Cloverfield for me (or There Will Be Blood for that matter. It came out in '08 over here). It was the surprise that it all went better than I thought possible.
I don't think any of us expected '08 to be so good. I know I didn't.
