I found this list online and changed it up a bit to find out what kind of women we have here.
I think I am a combination of The Career Woman and the Romantic Hero ... I am strong and will follow my heart and do what is right ... but at the end of the night I still need a little bit of love.
Who are you?
A. THE BADASS- A character that is a born killer, not that killing is a good thing, but when faced with the situations these ladies are faced with, it certainly comes in handy….just as fearsome, coldhearted, and calculating as the men going after them. They just happen to be a whole lot smarter than the men in movies like Kill Bill La Femme Nikita and Million Dollar Baby
B. REVENGE/SELF DEFENSE – A woman who never wanted to be hero. She was just struggling to get by until life pushed her between a rock and a hard place. Not natural born killer like the Badass, nor volunteer freedom fighters, nevertheless, when push comes to shove, she doesn’t back down from any fights, either. A character like from a movie like The Shining, The Terminator or Thelma and Louise.
C. NERVES OF STEEL -This female can face situations that would make even the most hardened old men run for the hills! This would be like a character from Silence of the Lambs, Jackie Brown, The Cell or Elizabeth.
D. CAREER WOMEN- Fearless against governments, lovers, friends, and family, these females followed their hearts to do whatever they believe is right. And, that always takes courage, especially when faced with everything from peer pressure to risking your life. This would be like a character from Gone Baby Gone, The Client, Fargo, Legally Blonde and Working Girl.
E. ROMANTIC HEROES - While women are stronger than ever, we still like a little romance once in a while in our dramas, fantasies, and action adventure movies. Like the character in Walk the Line, Terms of Endearment, When Harry Met Sally or Romancing The Stone.
F. TRAGIC HEROES -The strongest women suffer the most for their devotions. Doomed heroes impress with their undying love for people and causes, even it costs them their lives. This would be like a character from The Piano, Sophie’s Choice, Gia and The Others.
G. STRONG SEDUCTIVE WOMEN - The ability to charm someone, especially a man, into doing something he would not normally do is often called feminine wiles or seduction. When men do it, it’s usually called persuasion or manipulation. Whatever you call it, it’s fascinating and, thus, highly entertaining to watch someone really good at it in action. From movies such as Bound, Bowfinger, Mulholland Drive, Bodyheat or Dangerous Liaisons.
