I read in a recent interview to Damon Lindelof that "the mean of the numbers will be explain in the final season".

Yeah, we never did get a full explanation on Walt and his connection to the island. :-/

I'm just hoping they have a use for desmond this season and we finally find out what the hell is so special about walt, its been 3 year since ben said "We got more than we bargained for with walt" and we still dont know what it was!

well, I will by very disapointed if they only show the alter-timeline of claire, I want to know what happen to her on the island.

My Claire theory isn't that she died, but that she was kept alive the same way Michael was. When Claire does whatever the Nemesis (assuming that Her dad is the smoke monster or the nemesis) the healing and protective powers around her will wear off and she will die, probably from a delayed effect of her house being destroyed. And that she was talking with either ghost Charlie or smoke monster as Charlie before her house exploded, and that is why she thought it was Sawyer in that episode. And my recent idea for why she was needed was to tell all those in the alternate timeline how to get back.

And eventually she will die and there will be a bitter sweet, post-death scene of her and Charlie reuniting. And when my favorite character gets reunited with his gal, I will be as gitty as a school girl.

Whose to say that Jacob is truly the benevolent benefactor he appears to be?

Yeah, I'm curious to what happened to Claire, myself.

Depends on the ghost. Some I believe are working for Jacob, and some are working on behalf of the nemesis.

Haha, I just meant an evil version of Charlie's ghost. Though there could be a line of thinking that the ghosts aren't all as helpful as they seem...
