Wedding off the island, hmmmm maybe they finally show where rose and bernard have been and thats who gets married, or it could be a flashback for kate and jack. When richard said the whole group was here except for some at "THE TEMPLE" that might be rose and bernard. Hopefully some questions will be answered in this seasons finale. Even though i expect there to be many more questions brought up lol.

A few things:

1. I love the numbers being bad luck. Odd coincidences always compel me to tune in. The history channel loves to play that card.

2. No man or woman likes someone who is playing both sides. I know Kate will end up with Sawyer. I hate dragging it out.

3. The Smoke Monster is no more of a security measure than say some Pharoah protecting his tomb with I dunno, mummies. I was just preferring it to be an unexplained mythical monster than an actual being.

Wow this whole theory of Jack as Jacob is interesting, usually I try to avoid such theories but the logic is kinda compelling. I can't believe it's already been a whole season- just 17 episodes. I think all the guys hate Kate but as a romantic I'm still for her and Sawyer, even if it takes all of season 6 for them to be together (although it may happen sooner as Juliet has doubts seen in the promo). Jin and Sun are like the new Bernard and Rose, I remember when they finally found each other how happy and emotional I was.

That scene with Richard handling Locke's injury was good to see again...and someone remind me who/what Jughead is? Scrivs?

Ya, but the original curse? The reason those numbers are bad luck will probably be a dumb outcome, but "hell, I'm an optimist!"

I think Hurely said the numbers. If you go back and listen to the broadcast that Rousseau listed too, it sounds just like Hurleys voice. I think he recorded them and that is how he knew to play them in the lotto?

But how could a force of nature be a security system. I want to see the monster explained. But then again it could be a very stupid explanation.

Speaking of which, anyone think that the explanation of the numbers will be a little dumb once reviled? (providing that they are not that formula thing.)

Yea, if Jack is Jacob that would answer a great many things. It'd explain Christian's appearance. It would explain why Claire was not afraid to disappear off and never to return. Maybe the birth of Jacob has to do with what the hell happens with the bomb? Maybe...

If you notice, Ben never fucked with Jack. He'd be pretty hard on the others but not Jack.

As for the healing powers, well the island has always had mysterious healing powers. I just see Jacob as the Wizard of Oz. The guy behind the curtain who directs and understands it all.

I really hope the smoke monster is nothing more than a force of nature. Some things in LOST, I don't need an explanation. But I do need to know who was the 4 toed statue. lol.

This theory is not mine and I only found it on Lostpedia, but once you read it it seems like it works:
Through time travel, Jack becomes Jacob in an early period of the island's history.

Evidence:

* Jack can be short for Jacob (making it possible that Jack's full name is Jacob Shephard)
* Supposedly, Matthew Fox is the only character who knows the ending to the series. This may be why.
* Only Jack's family (Christian & Claire) are in Jacob's cabin, it appears that he may have selected them so that they could assist him.
* Jack is a very talented doctor. He saved his ex-wife somewhat miraculously. Jacob also has miraculous healing abilities. (Ben told Juliet that it was Jacob who healed Juliet's sister. We can conclude that the healing properties of the island is due to Jacob.)
* In the episode Walkabout, Boone tells Jack that he should talk to Rose, who was sitting alone on the beach without eating or drinking. Boone adds "You are the one who saved her life." Jack saved Rose after the crash, but in the general sense Jacob saved Rose's life by curing her cancer. Therefore this might be a foreshadowing.
* Jacob supposedly "heals" people on the island, but he didn't heal Ben's tumor in his spine. Perhaps this could be because Jack is Jacob and Jack was still there to heal Ben.
o Jacob also failed to heal Jack's appendicitis... Why would he do that?
+ Perhaps because he doesn't want to alter himself by affecting his past.
* The first glimpse of Jack that we have is of his eye. The first glimpse of Jacob that we have is of HIS eye. In both instances, the eyes are open wide with an intense expression of fear and surprise. Thus, the writers have created a strong parallel between Jack and Jacob.
o Their eyes are even the same color -- dark brown with just a hint of green rather than a light green/blue like Locke's eyes or Ben's eyes.

Oh there's no doubt Kate won't blow up the island.

Kate won't die. She's not done stimulating the gag reflex whenever she pulls Sawyer's heart strings. In fact, the preview pretty much proves she's going to convince him to drag himself back to the island (from the sub) to seal their fate.

I'd say the people who die are a result of the bomb explosion and the sickness is radiation fallout. So the bomb could blow up and the plan could still fail.

I just haven't figured out how Locke plans to make it all better...
