Hamilton Pool Preserve
For the Spillios planning on spending more than just the 3 Con days in Austin, I was considering organising a trip out to the Hamilton Pool Preserve, recognisable to many of us from films such as Teeth, Predators and The Tree Of Life.
UPDATE: Date confirmed as 14th of June, probably meeting up / heading to the pools around midday. Transportation and a meet up location will be organised in the weeks to come.
They're located about 23 miles (37kms for us metric folk) west of Austin, with a $10 Travis County Park entry fee. Transport to and from would have to be organised, but considering it's just an idea at this point we could work that out later. And considering Let's Do This used to start each week with "Boy, it's hot as hell up here!", I'm assuming it'll be good swimming weather.

June 14th, 2012 from 12:00pm-ish to 3:00pm-ish (all dependent on those who show up) at the Austin StinkSwimhole. Bring sturdy shoes, bring snack 'ems, 10 of them greenbacks to get in, swim trunks if you're up for a dip, and whatever else you need; Be there or be there some other time!

Very seriously considering postponing this til after the Con. A hefty delay and a sick friend / fellow traveller have completely reshuffled my schedule, and I don't have time to work out how to get to and from the pools at such short notice, so I was thinking of moving the pools to Monday in the early afternoon, say around 1-2pm. This gives more time to organise it, and also will be a good way to relax after four solid days/nights of partying.
Realllllllly sorry if this fucks anyone else's plans =/

I'm considering moving this event til after Spill.con...literally the Monday, perhaps in the afternoon? The main reason for this move is to better plan the meet up, and to also free up a couple of hours in an already hectic schedule.
With a fair bit on in preparation for Spill.con I don't really want to feel rushed, and I think it'd actually make a better way to relax after the chaos of the con.
