Phil Bourassa's young Justice Designs. Thought they were awesome and would share.

Got into the show after I heard good things from Leon while listening to a LOEG podcast. The show is good. and these designs are slick.  Phil Bourassa has worked on other tight projects as well like World War Hulk and Thor Tales of Asgaurd.

This is Newt is a cancelled Pixar film. It looked great and unlike any other pixar film to date. probably most  similar to bugs life for it being a low to the ground film. Two films with plots similar to newt have been realesed - Rio - which is made by the 20th Century Fox animation studio Blue Sky, and Alpha and Omega, a film by industry newcomer Crest Animation. The similar plots in both these films could be a reason why newt was canceled. John Lasseter admitted there was a plot resemblance of newt and Rio, but did not give any confirmation if it was a reason of cancellation. ^{too bad. i would have really liked to see this movie.}

While I do enjoy certain series i'm not a BIG anime Otaku. While i can sit and watch back to back episodes of Full Metal Alchemist, or Birdy The Mighty Decode i have a hard time swalling other series that are a little too.. foreign i guess..  Lucky Star is one of them.  I can respect the fact the animation is on point and a treat *especially with the sound of*, but can't get over the ultra ULTRA tiny girliness and high pitch voices, and just the fact that even though they are seniors in high school they appear to be 10 years old to the eye.. am i missing something?

1. So I saw brave this weekend and I wasn't blown away like I thought I was going to be with the story, But her hari looked great!
2. I thought i'd share the Hair System. seems like several different systems they used in layers. also the cloth symulation.

At Comic-Con me and Autumn were lucky to see The DC Universe Panel. the 3d batman Beware the Batman Promises to be as dark if not darker than Batman TAS. which is exciting. They showed off some gritty looking artwork and showed us some thug status villains as opposed to the usual super villains (except meta morpho.. they did show him) to let us know that this is more intamately focused on Batman instead of having outsiders come in like in Batman Brave and the Bold.
