I have a couple of questions about Liverpoool.
1. I started thinking the other day, who is better: Fernando Torres or Steven Gerrard? Both are incredibly talented, world class, influential and both of them win matches, but who is better?
2. If Steven Gerrard died tomorrow, would Liverpool still be a world class team? Would Rafael Benitez be good enough? Their best players would be: Martin Skrtel, Nabil El Zhar, Lucas Leiva, Javier Mascherano, Ryan Babel, Alvaro Arbeloa, Fabio Aurelio, Albert Riera, Daniel Agger, Sami Hyypia, Andrea Dossena, Yossi Benayoun, Xabi Alonso, Jamie Carragher, Dirk Kuyt, Fernando Torres and Pepe Reina.

1. It's difficult to compare a midfielder with a forward because each serves a specific purpose on the pitch. Although of the two, I'd say Gerrard would be valued more than Torres. That's not to say Torres isn't the best at what he does on this club.
2. Yes. One player doesn't make a club. The only set back would be the lack of a driving force in their midfield.

Well, Liverpool proved they could play brilliantly without Steven Gerrard AND Fernando Torres earlier today in the UEFA Champions League against Chelsea.

1. Damn thats a tough question. My opinion is that Fernando Torrez might be a little better than Gerrard.
2. Yes, Liverpool still have other exceptional players with the same potential as Gerrard
