Sony's newest itteration of the PSP came out this past Thursday, titled the PSPgo. I decided to trade in my original PSP and three of the shittiest games I had for it for this new, sexy little handheld. Let me start off by talking about the controls. The d-pad and face buttons don't feel like mush and have more of a click feel. The analog nub does not feel as bad as people say and feels a little more restricted. The L and R buttons feel about the same. The Start and Select buttons are right next to the analog nub, which will constantly taunt you that they could of placed second analog nub there. The system feels very durable and it doesn't feel like the sliding mechanism is gonna slide off. Having the ability to pause a game and come back to it later right at the point where you stopped is a nice feature. Bluetooth is also a very neat feature. 16GB is a good amount of memory to start off with, but you will most likely end up having to get an M2 memory card. The screen size is smaller, but in no way affects anything. The final verdict about the PSPgo is that you should only get this if you're someone who likes to buy the latest gadgets, a hardcore PSP fan, or a newcomer to the PSP. For everyone else, if you think you must have this, wait until it comes down in price because with no way to transfer your old UMDs to the go and next to no new features, it's not worth the $250 they are asking for.

I'm interested, but that price.........
God, I feel like a broken record:
"I'm real interested in a PS3, but it's too exspensive!"
Now I get to wait a couple years for it to hit $200
this is my computer
maybe when they can transfer UMDS and the price drops maybe but for now i'm sticking wih my 3000
From your very first comment on the go.I knew you would be first in line to snatch it up! LOL
What games did you download?
Nothing, really. It came with Rock Band Unplugged. I also downloaded some PS1 games to the go that I bought before.
Final Fantasy 7? :D
How did you guess?
Nah, i'll wait for the next PSP. I'm happy with my 2000 version, hopefully it will be the PSphone next time, now that would be worth it.
