Damn Right Everything Anime & Manga Podcast
(Click The Logo for Tha Podcast Archive!)
The focus of this podcast primarily revolves around the Anime and Manga universe but we in no way limit ourselves to these things solely. At times related topics such as Movies, Video Games, traditional Cartoons, Comics, & even Tech will come up…so if its cool, interesting and relevant we’ll probably talk about it on the podcast as well.
We often review anime and manga of all genres, old and new because we love em all and although we don’t necessarily keep up with the latest headline news as it comes we do bring up the interesting and relevant stuff.
I’d like to think the theme for the podcast is like a radio-talk show because it’s quite laid back and conversational, kinda like the way you would talk about these things with your friends and family
Constructive feedback is welcomed from our listeners and I’m open to working with people who have common sense and want to contribute to the cause.
Thanks for listening and enjoy the show!
When we review Anime and Manga we tend to use our own custom rating system which goes as follows

Remember the Dango Dango song from Clannad? Well, here's another version of that with Busta Rhymes.
Comment by Animeniac on April 27, 2013 at 11:26pm that stuff looks cool to me guyz
Comment by Kimono-Joe on April 27, 2013 at 6:31pm @jon da beast: oh yeah, That was always the though in Nausicaa, that it suffered this cataclysmic event that reverted the world to the state it was in. It go along with Miyazaki running message of Man vs Nature and how industrial advancement can lead to poisoning/ruining the earth, Much like "Princess Mononoke".
Comment by Jon da Beast on April 27, 2013 at 2:15pm @ Neon: You could say that, but there's still one movie left! I knew I would be confused, but I was not prepared for that lol.
@ Joe: Very cool, makes me want to check out old school Godzilla and kaiju stuff. Also if you took it as canon, that would mean Nausicaa is set in the future, which would tie nicely into the Nausicaa/Matrix thing hehehe.
Comment by Kimono-Joe on April 27, 2013 at 12:00pm speaking of Evangelion, did anyone catch the short Live action/Stop motion movie of "Giant God Warrior Appears over Tokyo"? Surprising to learn that Hideaki Anno and Ghibli worked together to make it.
This is pretty much a prequel to Ghibli's "Nausicaa in the Valley of the Wind" that shows the start of "The 7 Days of Fire".
Really fantastic looking, and amazing use of practical and miniature effects.
Hopefully this link will still work before someone takes it down.

Comment by Jon da Beast on April 24, 2013 at 12:04pm Nice one MAK. I hope you do watch Ergo Proxy, I highly recommend it.
Comment by MAK2.0 (The Hybrid) on April 24, 2013 at 10:43am As I go into another summer break again, that means I got more time to do anime reviews, starting with after my reviews of Iron Man: Marvel Anime & The movie Rise of Technovore, I’m starting the fourth cycle of Anime Discovery, which I haven’t given a name yet but hopefully I’ll find a way around that and maybe crossing the milestone of 100 reviews. If someone got any ideas for that, can you let me know?
Now, I will continue to do solo anime reviews with storylines but not a continuing storyline, just some one-shot and/or episodic stories that I can think of, and yes, I am still doing the continuing storyline in the Kakurega project with Co-Founder/Collaborator Angel & our newest reviewer/writer CiCi Bunni
For what anime to review, I’m not making any promises but the ones I got in mind to review this summer include:
Berserk
Berserk The Golden Age Arc 1: The Egg of the King
Berserk The Golden Age Arc 2: The Battle for Doldrey
Read or Die The OVA
Read or Die The TV
Ergo Proxy
Air
Kanon (2006)
Clannad
Clannad: After Story
Marvel Anime: Wolverine
Marvel Anime: X-Men
SoulTaker
There might be more reviews coming up, but that’s the list so far.
Please note, all subjects of what anime to review are due to change.
Comment by Tron on April 21, 2013 at 5:36pm The Yugioh Fandom, including myself, is celebrating Zexal getting to 100 episodes, here is its newest opening.
(Warning: this opening contains a big spoiler for Zexal, which I am sure most of you won't care about since most may not watch it, lol, just thought it should be something I mention)
