Any Floyd fans on here seen this movie? This is a documentary/quasi-concert movie from the early 70s, done right on the cusp of 'Dark Side''s recording (the version of the movie I have, the VHS copy of the "longer" version but *not* the director's cut that's now on DVD with super-added silly CGI, has some snippets of Floyd recording Dark Side, very great bits to see). While I love the Wall and all, it's not a movie to watch more than like once a year. Live at Pompeii, however, with PF playing to a not-there crowd in BC-era stadium in Pompeii, is compulsively rewatchable, doing some of their best ever with Echoes (damn it kicks ass), Careful with that Axe Eugene, Saucer full of Secrets, and even a song called Mademoiselle Nobs with features a wailing dog - and an actual wailing dog!
I loves the hell out of it, and can watch it any time of day. Any thoughts?
