Love
A poem:
Love is life's bi-product. It's waste. It's refuse.
Love is hate's friend. It's partner. It's son.
Without hate there is no love, as love responds to hate. So what a waste, a waste indeed... to think love the answer.
Is it better to have loved and lost than never to haved loved at all? Or is a life without love, the better life to live?
What work we could accomplish, if we only sought to mate. Make things less human, less pretty, less impractical.
Life without love is a life of freedom, but what freedom can be enjoyed without love of the enjoyment that spawned it?
So love is needed to live the life we live. But imagine the existence where we only sought survival, where man dominated man to his injury. Where everyone is lawless, because there is no law. What world would this be?
Not a world at all. It is a hell. A torment. A grave.
Love is life's waste. Shun it and gain freedom. Hate is life's standard, embrace it and gain anarchy.

If love responds to hate, they are a function of each other.
If you want to fall in love with one single person then you also decide that you want to hate all other people.

Love may in fact be hate or even evil, but the fact is that life without love or hate is shallow and meaningless. People who have love and or hate in their hearts are people who are actually living life to its fullest. Remember though sorrow may be painful and hatred tiresome and possibly evil, they are all beautiful because they are bi-products of life which is itself amazing. Those who shun love and hatred and turning their back on life which by using the logic brought forth by this discussion would mean that you are turning to death for comfort which is a foolish move.
