Greetings from across the pond, Five things you will enjoy about London:

1. the Baratheon diet plan: Slab of Ribs, half a whole chicken and rock shrimp sateed in Garlic Sauce and red wine. Vegetables? What's that? Decoration?

2. Free museums galore: Art whores paradise of Jenny Saville in the Saatchi collection! My good non-spill friend Charlie's great grandfather's pic in the National Portrait gallery. He holds the distinction of holding the highest position starting from ranking officer.

3. The Denium and iphone outbreak. Used to be back in 1992, you could tell an American by wearing blue jeans. No longer the case. I think I was the only one not wearing blue jeans with sneakers. First time I ever felt self conscious dressing down. Not a bad thing just kinda shocking

4. Forbidden Planet London has a great collection if fantasy books and toys. JLA #1: think Dark knight strikes. Not terrible impress.

5. Sloan Square is nice, how much?" *in Borat tone*

Once again, I realize every one has gotta get paid but I am issuing a flood warning of Whiskey in the 10012 area. Please join me as we fight back by drinking...Puck Fair 7-9p. If not, I'll see you when I am back from London.

One final note, bless those magnificent CRAZY motherfuckers in Rockaway, Queens...fearless NYers through and through.

Well, we all remember when Mayor Bloomberg underestimated the snowstorm that crippled the city for a few days. People died on the account that emergency vehicles couldn't get through unplowed streets. In my profession, you never, ever roll with other people's lives when it comes to dealing with potential disasters...In a word, relieved. That's how I feel.

Alright 2 minute quakes, Hurricane Irene...anything else? I think I've earned my vacation that begins tomorrow.

If you're interested in joining me for a pint to celebrate surviving our ex-girlfriend Irene, meet me at Puck Fair at 298 Lafayette Street. They also serve food there. Was thinking 7p-9p. I know every one has work the next day.

If not, I'll see you when I get back from London...

It was just a heavy rain in my area. It was the Green Lantern of hurricanes, It didn't live up to the hype.

Good to hear, figured things wouldn't be as bad as everyone was fearing it could be.

To quote Tron Legacy, "Made It!" One more night and I'm off for 10 days. Wasn't bad just a lot of overview and managing all the transfers from NYU.

Kind of pick your poison right?

The flooding affects me more. Not just knocking out public transportation but also affecting my red eye flight to London on Tues from Newark International. Luckily I always design my vacations with 2-3 lee way so I can shift it and still be ok.

Tornadoes are definitely part of the wind worry problem. It's not the strength of the storm but how slow it moves and how large. That's the bigger worry.
