I’ve always wondered why the month of August never had a holiday. I bet the first Emperor of Rome, Augustus, was like I am so awesome my month doesn’t need one holiday it is it’s own holiday! Sorry for my poor childish humor. In this month we will ALL  remember that NY B and V has reached the legal drinking age *pops a bottle of champagne*. * The Box Office will open at 10 am, so we will have to camp out for a bit in order to guarantee tickets. May I suggest you bring some items to help kill time. If you want to see the show but cannot make it early to buy a ticket please let me know so we can make arrangements to buy your ticket for you.

Lunch at Carnegie Deli (7th avenue btwn 54th/55th): Figure after waiting in line for a few hours, the early birds might be hungry. Chances are, we'll grab a bite. You're welcome to meet up with us there for a Pastrami & Provolone on rye.

Every summer, the roof of the MET is open to the public offering spetacular views of Central Park and there's a little refreshment stands as we re-charge before the second feature. 

Second Feature: War Horse

If you're a die-hard like some of us, we're pushing the limits by taking a SECOND show in one day. War Horse has been a UK stage phenom since 2007-8 ish. Before Spielberg releases his Oscar race horse, we figured we'd see it for ourselves in its purest form.
