As most of you probably know, I sent out the e-mail regarding the dates for the availability of the Brooklyn Parlor for our second self-sponsored event. I wanted to open the forum to fresh ideas.

While May is available, I would emphasize June for our intents and purposes. Here's why, April we are at Six Flags, May we are hitting the beach for the Avengers/Atlantic City bash...thinking the treasury will need June to replenish itself.

Also, we learned how efficient we are getting the word out and how long it takes for us to mobilize and self-promote out event.

Here are the dates in June: 10th, 17th, and 24th...

Now to kill two birds with one stone, we could pair it with one of our B&V movie nights:

Prometheus opens on the 8th

Rock of Ages opens on the 15th

Brave opens on the 24th

There are a couple of ways of doing this...

1. Do a double movie feature that pairs up with the movie...

2. I know just putting out feelers that several podcasters from IGN, Latino Review, and a few others Rachel mentioned are VERY interested if we hosted a live show for them.

Either way, it's a win because I want to keep going until the 4th event, our the MOST important hosting is secured.

Just want to be up front, the people who come out of the most B&Vs have the most pull. The ones who don't really have no say....and our group is capable of assembling 50 people (as evidenced by our first double feature) without any support from spill so it's not like just posting is helpful.

But it wouldn't be public invite if we didn't at least read and try to incorporate anyone into our goals.

I'll see at least half the B&V this weekend (and other members who aren't on spill) so if you want to give your comments that's fine as well.
