Legalizing it easier said than done. However, this film pretty much breaks it down in simple, humorous manner.

hi every one i like to toke every once in a while and i agree with denise it'a gives me alot better nights sleep without that crappy feeling in the morning that the legal drugs give you.

I agree with Danny D. Cananbis plants grow so easily that it would be impossible to heavily tax the drug, people would just grow their own and avoid the taxes if it were legal, unlike other drugs such as tobacco which is very difficult to grow yourself.

As to it being natural, though, a lot of the common strains today have been selectively breed to such a degree that they have 'unnaturally' high levels of THC, often without an equally high level of other cannabinoids (plausibly causing a lethargic high rather then the giggly high of 'natural' weed).

The main reason I'd give for it being legalised is so people know the stuff their smoking. I don't know if its happening in the US but in europe there's been a spree of trafficers spraying weed with plasstic substances that make it look more potent and make it weigh more... and make it massively more damaging to your lungs.
