I liked Brosnan's version of Bond, and I do like Daniel Craig's version as well.  Didn't care one way or the other for Timothy Dalton, found Roger Moore to be too cartoonish near the end, and George Lazenby only did one film.

Sean Connery, on the other hand, was fantastic.  He's 1A to Craig and Brosnan's 1B for me.

I'm a fan of both. Each one represented their era. Pierce did belong where Tim Dalton was, but Tims adaptation of Bond is extremely accurate to the book Bond & not the Connery film Bond that he set as the standard. Just Tim was trying to do what Daniel is doing now for an audience that is ready for the book Bond. Hence why Tim was never really liked- a mentally torn spy in an era of blood lusting movie generation...just didnt mix well.
