Just in case you didn't hear....
"Iron Man 2"
Release date: April 30, 2010
Lowdown: This franchise has always been planned as a trilogy, and you can expect everyone to return and for Terrence Howard (aka War Machine) to get a lot more screen time.
"Thor"
Release date: June 4, 2010
Lowdown: Think "Lord of the Rings" meets "Beowulf." The most recent script rightfully set the Norse god's origins in pagan times (and was a good read to boot). As the comic book version also lives in modern times, it will be interesting to see how director Matthew Vaughn ("Stardust") ties that into the movie. The more important question is whether Marvel will spend the money Vaughn needs to make the magical world of Asgard come to life.
well since I think its obvious that war machine is going to be in the next movie.
I was thinking about some villains.
Since there will be 2 heroes, I would think that these 2 villains could make an interesting plot together.
Arsenal - A doomsday robot built by Iron Man's father, Howard Stark.
In the final days of World War II, a group of Allied scientists - led by Howard Stark, the father of Tony Stark (alias Iron Man) - developed "Project Tomorrow" - specifically the creation of a robot called Arsenal; a prototype fighting unit to be deployed in the event of an Axis victory. The robot was also guided by an early computer program called "Mother". When the Allies won the war, Arsenal was placed in storage. The robot was activated for a military demonstration during a worsening Cold War, but was never used.History:
Endotherm
History: Tom Wilkins was originally a loyal employee and skilled security officer. However, for whatever reason, he developed an intense fear of losing his pension. This fear progressed into paranoid schizophrenia.
By stealing technology available at the Stark International plant, he developed a costume to form the identity of Endotherm. In this identity, he began performing acts of vandalism on the plant, hoping to draw the company's chief executive officer, Tony Stark, to the plant to investigate. He then planned to kill Stark. In his mind, if the head of the company were dead, there would be no one to fire him, and no way he could lose his pension.
I can see a plot develop where Tom Wilkins {aka endotherm} was still not going through his problems yet and he finds Arsenal stored away somewhere deep in Stark industries and then a little later his mental issues arise.
Once they do then he activates Arsenal and becomes Endotherm.
I just thought it could be an interesting twist :)
What I heard was that Iron Man 2 was about the Tony and Rhodes building War Machine with The Mark II , and that the Crimson Dynamo would be the main villian.
Another theroy was that Rhodes builds the War Machine suit, but it gliches and wreaks havoc on the city.
Just for the heck of it put Hancock in there. I think it would be awesome to watch the two of them fight. Inn fact I'm tempterd to lock Robert Downing Jr. and Will Smith in a small room with swords and armor and have them fight to the death.
