Well self, unfortunately I think the CBS audience will enjoy this incarnation of Sherlock. I say unfortunately because it doesn't interest me in the slightest. But, CBS has become a haven for cop dramas, they're giving the folks what they want and the edgyness of the character will be popular. The weak point for me is Lucy Liu's Joan Watson character. A. a female and B. forced to be with Sherlock.
Permalink Reply by Rebecca Notseri on June 6, 2012 at 9:54pm I concur. Joan Watson is a lame idea.
How many people are subscribed to this? I'm surprised with all the Sherlock hype that you have to talk to yourself. I thought I'd find about a thousand theories on how Sherlock "got away with it" at the end of Series 2 on here....
Permalink Reply by Biz on June 8, 2012 at 8:36am I was also surprised that I had to create my own group in order to talk about Sherlock. There is also another Sherlock group that started discussions on each original Sherlock story, but it hasn't seen actions for over a year. We can discuss the end of BBCs Season 2 on the other discussion I have here! Thanks for keeping me from talking to myself
Permalink Reply by Vidocq on August 18, 2012 at 3:34pm According to Miller he wont allow for any sexual tension between the characters (other than the one fans give them, like in Sherlock). I am not liking where this is going. At All. But hopefully it will be something good, but I think the Mentalist is closer to Holmes than what this is looking.
And the Damn thing is called Elementary! Were they looking for the shittiest name for a Sherlock Holmes show imaginable? Will Holmes say it like a Catchphrase? Bullshit.
