Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's literary character Sherlock Holmes has entertained the world since his beginnings in the late 19th Century. Sherlock has been plagiarized, satirized, modernized, animated, and adapted to the big screen, small screen and stage. Check out the above article if you haven't already heard. I'm not sure if prior commitments mean anything to anyone anymore, but it was not secret when they decided to start filming in January that Star Trek and Hobbit were coming out. This makes me want to smoke...where's my slipper ...
