Yes, I am tired. But many have made the good point of

I don't. I pirate that shit. They aint gettin my cash.

I seem to take it personally ,coz they seem to be remaking all of my favourate movies. And I aint completely against remakes, but these remakes are not done because someone has a burning artistic desire to put forward a new take on the source matirial. Theyre done because
-Hollywood is creatively bankrupt
-Hollywood don't know how to market soething original
-they jus happen to own the rights to something

And I can't believe these people get paid more than I do! I could do that.
Take a look at what worked 20years ago and do it again. Why did we have that Writers Strike for? THIS!?!?
I woulda fired their asses and hired some foreigners. Coz thats where the good shits comming from these days.
What was it like 5mins befor they bought the rights to do a remake of [REC]?

hell yes i agree, i mean if your going to remake something PLEASE do something original with it. for example, The Thing is one of my favorite horror movies and i hear insted of remaking it directly, they are make a prequal.

I don't see a need to remake Carpenter's The Thing. That movie's already perfect.

I admit however to enjoying the remakes of Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Friday the 13th.

well, having just seen trailer for Zombieland, i thought, just what we need ANOTHER horror "comedy". hmm. have you seen Eden Log?? not horror per se (well unless you're claustrophobic) but an interesting concept. screw hollywank, europe producing the goods at the moment ie Martyrs, Inside, Let the Right 1 in etc..

also have to mention Pontypool..nice twist on a old genre..dead snow looks like it could be fun...BUT "the hagstone demon" starring mark borchardt from "american movie" is my current pick...and its a personal choice, so bring it on as it wont be to everyone's taste. try and avoid the dubbed print of LTR1In, as the brats they used totally totally ruin the atmosphere.

Make a movie about multiple people who wake up one day just to find that they are the only people left in the world, eventually they have fun by bashing thing's, getting drunk, driving go kart's around in a shopping mall (doing many other thing's that you or I have alway's wanted to do just for the hell of it). They eventually start to worry to what happened to the people around them, it eventualy turn's out that everyone else has turned into vampire/Zombie type thing's that only move around to any dark place's (anywhere to a dark kitchen cellar to a dark corner of a room) & what those son of a bitch's do to you is not pretty what so ever (they gut you open with their hand's, eat your organ's & spew the remains all over the place). Then the survivor's have to get the fuck'n hell out of the mall that they are locked in & get somewhere safe before midnight.

i cant stand the damn remakes last house on the left made me sick just by how bad that movie sucked ass. They wont remake the one movie that i think could be remade into a bad ass movie which is evil dead. If they done it right and didnt use all that cgi bullshit it could be amazing and just to defend one remake i liked halloween. I love rob zombies work i think he is one of the best today besides peter jackson that doesnt work in the genre any more. Peter needs to direct a horror movie now that he has some money
