Is Futurama Better Than The Simpsons?

The first eight seasons of the Simpsons were fantastic and all four seasons of Futurama was just as great. Now, comparing newer episodes of the Simpsons to reruns of Futurama, Futurama wins hands down but seeing how long The Simpsons have been on the air, I'd say the general public prefers The Simpsons.

Yes, it is...
The reason Futurama isn't as popular as The Simpsons is that Futurama just can't be appreciated by general public. It's made by geeks for geeks.
