Main character dying - The principle.
Main character status defined by the fact that he was in every episode before that one and wasn't just a character brought on just 1 episode to die.

I would imagine that after trying to rape Buffy and exposing his extremely dark side, Zander's chances with Buffy would be slim to nil. Personally I felt uncomfortable every time he showed his feelings to Buffy after that.

Before that episode I wanted them to get together, but after episode 6 I knew it wasn't gonna happen.

Of course part of my comments could be attributed to my personal interpretations, but they did make a joke about Zander comiting attempted rape, or something like that.

Huh, I thought main character was described as being in the main credits. Or not being credited under "Guest Star" or "Special Guest Star". You know, like that guy... who was he... oh, yea. The principle. And Xander is spelled with an "X" Its short for Alexander. Weird that his family would give a sophisticated name, after seeing them in later seasons.

I'm watching Buffy for the first time!

Episode 6...Wow.

it started off so campy, but it finish with a main character dying and a nail in the coffin on the whole Zander and Buffy hook up, thing. And a little attempted rape tossed in.

damn.

Still not better than Firefly, but...damn.

Need to just sit down and start watching Dollhouse. Trouble is getting past that point I have in any Whedon show from the meh area to the point where I totally get it, its awesome, and the Meh stuff is good.

Anybody check out yesterday's episode of Dollhouse. Big improvement over the other episodes of the season. Totally awesome!
