AVGN vs Nostalgia Critic

Who's better. Ok I will get this out of the way but I absolutely love the critic and Video Game Nerd tries way too hard. Maybe if you're a fan of constant cursing and tasteless jokes like pooping on other people than Video Game Nerd is for you. As for me I never thought saying the F-bomb constantly was funny and I'm always cringing of a lot of disgusting dialogue like what he says most of the time. Now keep in mind there are funny moments from the Nerd like him beating up Bugs Bunny but those are far in between. While I understand why he swears so much because he's playing those crappy games which would make even the Dahli Llama lose his cool but he just tries too hard to be dirty that I feel has no payoff from this.
Now Critic on the other hand is just as dirty but he creates cartoony situations and funny gestures that would belong in a looney tunes cartoons that feels more funny and creative than anything the Nerd would do. Overall the Critic is just more funny, I guess that's because I've been more of a movie person than a video game person.

Permalink Reply by Nixon74 on September 23, 2009 at 12:21pm: I completely disagree AVGN isn't a tri hard because he's always been an angry nerd all his life, also i don't find the f bomb jokes tasteless i find them hilarious but i guess it depends what comedy you prefer, personally AVGN is a lot funnier. I actually prefer his movie reviews were he's really eye opening and gives his observations and views. Also i HATE nostalga critics facial hair he looks really creepy.; ▶ Reply to This

Also AVGN puts in alot more time and effort into his reviews and has more then ust one shot ok him sitting there and playing the game. Also AVGN should be allowed to swear more and get more angry because he has to play these shitty in-playable games while the nostalgia critic just bags out anything he can find.; ▶ Reply to This
