I agree with you.he doesn't try many new tricks. His movies are very much alike in tone , look and feel. I believe he is very talented, just boring.

I find Tim Burtons pallet has become tired & boring. It seemed brand new & genius with the first batman movie back in the day-but his movies all seem the same movie now. He has a great eye for wierd & wonderful, but I think its safe to say that G.Del Toro can match or better that vision. But Ridley Scott doing Alice in Wonderland? Doesnt work for me.
Now back to the question:Spielberg or Spielbergs greatest movie or favourite Spielberg movie.
I agree, Jurassic Park falls on the same line as Inidana Jones Raiders & Crusade which I see are all equally brilliant,so I can't say it's his greatest movie BUT is one of my all time favourite directors. It would be a dying wish to sit down & have a chat over coffee with him.

Tim Burton is an ok director. He has ahd some hits and fails. But i am excited to hear that he will direct Alice and Wonderland.

I would have to agree with the Spill crew that Tim Burton is just not the right director for Johnny Depp. He is just too awe-struck with having him in his movies that he is willing to let him do whatever he wants. Even though I am not a huge Ridley Scott fan, he does know how to direct Russel Crowe and is able to get amazing performances out of him. Please don't get me wrong, I think Tim Burton is an incredible director and a visual genius. I would like to see him take on a script that is superbly written instead of just another tarp for him to paint. I hope I didn't get too far off subject here?

How about Tim Burton? The guy has made his first big budget movie in 1989. I am so glad, that he is going to make live-action CGI movie, about Alice In Wonderland. I wish, that Depp will be in it.

Yeah, I'm confused about what the question was. Are you asking are favorite movie that Steven Spielberg made?
DCRAIG007 Comment by DCRAIG007 on September 17, 2008 at 2:20am
What is his favourite movie? I believe it is Jurassic Park, because all the time when i see it, i like it. Because it is so different movie. It is full of adventure and action...

I want to ask question about the man, who created the greatest movies ever, Steven Spielberg. Spielberg was the first director, who impressed me.

Great to see that people are interested in the group. I what to go over a few rules. This will hopefully be a friendly environment for people to discuss and that is the only reason the rules are here.

#1- This is a friendly group and anyone who violates that will be subject to the consequences chart (listed at bottom of comment). No one is particularly special in this group and will not be treated as such, so any comment you post can be debated but have proper manners about it.

#2- No spamming the group. This is just annoying and offenders will be subject to the consequences chart.

#3- Please keep to the topic that you are posting in. If you get off topic, there will be a quick slap on the wrist. If it continues you will be open for "the chart".

#4- Keep the group in high regards.

#5- Have fun.

Consequence chart-
#1- You will be asked to stop.

#2- Repeat violation of the first offense, will have all post that are questionable deleted. I will talk to you first because I do believe that people make rational decisions so, you have a chance to explain your motives.

#3- You will be deleted from the group.

This isn't here to scare people so, please don't think that. I'm trying to keep this site respectable but at the same time fun for everyone. Most people won't even need to know the rules because they are just basic manners but some may need a reminder.

You’re probably thinking, “What do you mean? Isn’t that why it’s called Sci-Fi?” Well, yes and no. The method in which science is woven into the storyline has much to do in determining to what degree true science plays a part in a movie. It may b...
