Pool's Comics - August 1, 2008

Joker's Asylum: Two-Face - Two-Face meets another man who has a scared face who wants to help, but Two-Face doesn't want that help. This was a great series and I wish ut could go on but I guess it can't.
Rating: 9/10.
Trinity #9 - Batman finds out who the wolf people are but before he can do anything about it the Crime Syndicate decide to enter the scene. This series keeps on moving but it needs to pick up the speed.
Rating: 7/10.

Marvel
Black Panther #39 - This was the greatest Black Panther comic I have ever read. The Skrulls are invading Wakanda and what do they find EVERY SKRULL SPY DEAD! Whats next could be the turning point for Earth.
Rating: 10/10.
New Warriors #14 - This has Secret Invasion on the cover but there was only four pages of Skrulls in this.This book was still god only because the old New Warriors are in it setting up for a big fight. My biggest problem was that the one Skrull they fight speaks English but every other Skrull speaks Skrull.
Rating: 7/10.
Thor #10 - Loki tells Balder his Thor's brother and should be king, how does Thor react to this, he makes him Co-King.This is a god series but why does Thor trust Loki all of the sudden?
Rating: 8/10
Wolverine #67 - We get a little more back story on how the villiens beat the heros and what happened to Wolverine. Hawkeye kills alot of Ghost Riders, and the Mole Men are eating San Francisco. This series is great and I'm really happy that they show a few other heros that are still around.
Rating: 9/10.
X-Factor #33 - X-Factor move to Detroit, everyone wants to kill this one guy, Longshot is a Skrull being hunted by another Skrull and She-Hulk beats the shit out of everyone. This is a good read and a good Secret Invasion tie-in.
Rating: 8/10.

My #1 pick is Black Panther.
