Since Marvel is leading the way with comic book movies I was wondering what your top ten Marvel films are.
Mine are.
10. Ghost Rider

This was a very good origin movie for Ghost Rider. To me Nicolas Cage is a perfect Johnny Blaze and did a fine acting job. Eva Mendes was basically playing the same character from Hitch. Sam Elloit was playing a cow boy so you know his great in the movie. Peteer Fonda was a great Mephisto but I was dissapointed that we never saw his true form. The CGI was fine through the whole movie but Ghost Rider really shined in it. I do have a few problems with this. One is, why isn't Blackhart in his true form? He looks terriable in human form. This also took away what could have been a great monster vs. monster fight. Another main problem is that they made up three really bad villians just so they could get there ass handed to them by Ghost Rider. Couldn't they dig up some old Ghost Rider villians for this. My last little complaint is Ghost Riders voice wasn't that great, it wasn't terriable, but it just wasn't what I thought Ghost Riders voice would be.
9. DareDevil

Here is the thing about this movie, either you hate are you like it, I like it. To me this is shows the perfect DareDevil origin except he didn't lose his sight by saving someone. Ben Affleck is a really good DareDevil and Jennifer Garner was an okay Elecktra. Michael Clarke Duncan is the perfect Kingpin and Jon Favreau was a good Foggy Nelson. My biggest problem with the casting was Colin Farrell as Bullseye, because Bullseye aint Irish, and if he is, he aint that Irish. Bullseye also had no custom and I was a little dissapointed by that. Everyone else was good in the movie but nothing that really shines. My biggest problem is the CGI, it just look bad, thet could have done alot better. Another problem is the final fight between Bullseye and DareDevil ends in a very shitty way. The Directors Cut is better then the original virsion.
8. X-Men: The Last Stand

This has nothing to do with the comics but damn I liked this film. I never cared for Cyclops so I wasn't very upset when he was killed off. I liked how they showed Wolverine taking over the X-Men besides Storm or Beast. The cast is great just like all the others. The Juggernaut was the worst thing about this movie. All the fight scenes were great and the CGI was great. It's sad that there will never be a fourth movie because there are still so many more mutants to introduce but I guess the new X-Men Origins series can handle that.
7. Blade

This is the movie that started Marvels run of blockbusters. Wesley Snipes as Blade is the best casting of a comic book movie I have ever seen. I was never a fan of the comic but after seeing the movie I bought one of the Blade Essentials and from what I can tell everything is very loyal to the comics. Everything in this movie was good but not great. I still havn't watched the next two in the trilogy but I hopefully will soon along with the tv series.
6. Spider-Man 3

This is Marvels greatest franchise and greatest character so of course it's going to be on the list. As always Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, John Franco, and J.K. Simmons are great in this. The CGI is some of the best I've ever seen. Thomas Haden Church was a perfect Sandman and this movie pushed Sandman up as one of my favorite Spidey villians. Topher Grace was the worst casting in this because isn't Eddie Brock supposed to be a huge guy. Venom was great but wasn't used right. This would have been alot better if they went with the original idea of Sandman, Electro and Shocker breaking out of jail then forming a little team with The Goblin.
5. X-Men

This was Marvels first great film. The cast is amazing! Who could have believed Hugh Jackmen would have been such a great Wolverine. This story is so much like the comics which is very hard to do with something so big. This movie shows you that an Avengers movie can be done.
4. Spider-Man

When this movie came out it was my favorite comic book film of all time. Now not so much. I can't say how good the casting was but damn it was good. The Green Goblin didn't look great but it made more sense for him to wear armor instead of a custom. Sam Raimi did such a great job with this, he did so good I couldn't believe how bad the sequal was.
3. The Incredible Hulk

This to me was a Hulk fans wet dream. Three fights of nothing but smashing along with Hulks best villian ever. I really liked the acting but I did wish San Elliot could have came back for this. Norton is a great Banner and produced a great script. Ioved all the Captain America hints and dare I may say this has one of the best endings to a comic book movie.
2. X2

X-Men is my favorite comic trilogy of all time and one of the only sequals that is better then the first. The only reason why this is higher then the first because of that Lady Deathst/Wolverine fight. Also Nightcrawler didn't hurt. Actually while I'm writing this I'm watching this movie.
1. Iron Man

I know it just came out but come on this is the best origin movie ever made. This has the best casting for a movie and if you disagree please compare Robert Downey Jr. to Tony Stark. The suit looked amazing and thats because it wasn't all CGI. Jon Favreau did a great job with this and will do a great job with the sequal and/or the Avengers. I think the best thing they did was using one of Iron Mans minor villians, Iron Monger instead of his biggest enemy The Mandarin.
Well, there you have it. My top ten best Marvel movies. What are yours?
