I would have to go with Capcom vs SNK 2. I like the Groove system, and I unlocked both the final bosses which I am very proud of (even though I lucked into it). Street Fighter II is of course the king, but CvS2 was a lot deeper, and my first exposure to most of the SNK guys.
I wished Darkstalkers would have had more of an impact on the home consoles. As it is, the most experience I have ever had with the series was the Chaos Tower, and really didn't think much of the characters other then the Shoto-clones. If they released a Darkstalkers anthology like was done with Street Fighter I would be all over it, but until then, not enough playing time for me to have an opinion.
To be honest, I think the Chaos Tower is the best one, I also have Darkstalkers 1 and 3 on the PS1 but the first one is lacking in characters and the third one is lacking in replay value due to lack of different modes, Chaos Tower is esentially a tweaked version of 3, what I love best about the Darkstalkers games is the characters.
Is it just me or do Capcom seem to seriously underuse all its fighting game franchises exept for Street Fighter?.
Oh, man - I LOVED Rival Schools! How I wish they brought that series back, 'cause it had a lot of potential.
Currently, I'm into Street Fighter 3: Third Strike.
SNK has been releasing a lot of their old fighting game collections so I'm trying to catch up on that as well.
Rival Schools has SOOOO much potential!, a couple of years back I heard Capcom were making a new RS for the PSP but I havent heard anymore about it.
I'm trying to catch up with some of SNKs back catalogue too, the Art of Fighting compilation has recently been released so I think I'll check that out.
Just as bad as you think it would be. This instantaneous straight to DVD movie is full of no name actors, bad acting, and an obvious plot for revenge in which Ray Park's(Darth Maul, Snake Eyes) character sets in motion by killing someones fiance o...
