Ozma of Oz, I don't know if you have seen Hot Fuzz, but it's another Simon Pegg film. This time it's a action/comedy.

Nicholas Angel (Simon Pegg), an extremely dedicated police officer in London's Metropolitan Police Service, performs his duties so well that he is accused of making his colleagues look bad. As a result, his superiors transfer him to the seemingly crime-free village of Sandford in rural Gloucestershire. Danny Butterman (Nick Frost - Ed from Shaun of the Dead) is his well-meaning but naive police constable who is a serious action film fan. It's also a knee slapping side splitting laugh coma of a movie.

Thanks Teddy and Tessa. I did love Shaun of the Dead because it was just so gosh darn funny! I love Simon Pegg and he was brillant in that.

I just found out about Dead & Breakfast after watching the previews for Bruce Campbel's Man with the Screaming Brain. I also saw a preview for Thou Shalt Not Kill...Except. It was surprising seeing a preview for the Thou Shalt movie because it is from 1985 and the Man with the Screaming Brain is from 2005. The Though Shalt not Kill Movie...Except isn't out on DVD on NetFlix yet.

The Man with the Screaming Brain is a great movie, but don't expect a gore fest since it was originally made for the Sci-Fi channel.

Wow, did any one catch Thirst? Although much less of a vampire film in a traditional sense but Park Chan Wook (Old Boy) really captured that sense of psychology in a relationship. I know vampire relationships are 100 times more en vogue than it was during Buffy. This doesn't do the obligatory, "I'm a vampire, I'm beautiful LOVE ME!" *cues Alphaville song Forever Young*

In a lot of ways, Wook's uncanny sense of humor reminded me of Ju-Dou. Great alternative to the typical "relationship" film.

Ozma - There's a lot of great zombie movies, so the classics are always great and the ones MyTeddyBear said are good, but I also love Fido, Lucio Fulci's Zombie, Wildzero, Shaun of the Dead, Dead & Breakfast, 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks later.

My opinion of a good zombie movie : ( 1978) dawn of the dead , re - animator, chopper chicks in zombietown is fun , dance of the dead is ok , dead alive , i love the first resident evil , return of the living dead is fun too, day of the dead .

I was kind of feeling embarrassed for leading all Zombie kind, but the end of MyTeddyBear's 'What to do in a Zombie Attack' re-affirmed my faith in Zombianity. In the end, everyone dies. From either a Zombie attack or a Nuke. Which is good for Zombie population growth since any living person/animal who dies is in the perfect condition to become a Zombie. Unless all living humanity decides to commit suicide from shot to the head or self decapitation rather than gaining the bliss that is being dead alive.
